Carla Marcyniuk

As the newest member of the team, Carla is a business consultant that brings to VEC 10+ years of marketing and client management experience with some of the worlds largest brands.

Prior to joining VEC she spent almost 8 years with world renowned digital agency, Critical Mass, who consistently has won Forrester’s top digital agency honours. Her roles have included all aspects of client and people management with her most recent being VP Managing Director running a business unit of 90 people and working with clients such as Hyatt to develop their digital marketing strategy. Through this role she was able to build her skills in people management, business financials and processes, and hone her client management skills in dealing with clients from the c-level suite to day-to-day contacts.

Prior to this she learned a variety of aspects of digital marketing through her roles as a project manager, account manager, and an eMarketing Director. This included 2 years working onsite with Dell in Austin Texas to develop the relationship and establish project processes between Dell and Critical Mass. Previous to that she worked with Ogilvy & Mather and Koo Creative where she gained a solid understanding of traditional marketing and project processes.

Always fascinated by what makes some organizations effective while others struggle, Carla started working with VEC in order to marry her previous business experience with a focus on organizational development and coaching.

Carla has recently moved back to her home province of BC and is enjoying being back in the mountains after her stint in Alberta and the US. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.
